High-speed gears require good oil supply already at low temperatures to reduce friction and wear. This is facilitated by CENTOPLEX CX 4/375 AU with its very soft consistency. In combination with the lithium soap thickener, the selected mineral oils support good backflow behavior to optimize the required separation of the friction bodies. Due to the good oil separation, good wetting of all moving friction points in the gearbox and the bearings can be attained.
Due to its soft consistency, CENTOPLEX CX 4/375 may be used in particular in small gears running at high speeds. An application example is a right angle grinder containing bevel gears. At temperatures <80 °C, long-term lubrication is feasible.
